  • No, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been in therapy.

  • That makes sense. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable. We’ll move at your pace, and you’re encouraged to name any hesitation or uncertainty you’re carrying. You don’t need to be brave, just willing to arrive and begin.

  • Nope. While talk therapy helps you make sense of your thoughts, somatic therapy helps your body release what it’s been holding onto (while connecting your brain and body). This is the missing piece when you intellectually understand your patterns but still find yourself looping in them.

  • That’s completely okay. You don’t need to arrive with a clear story, goal, or agenda. We can begin wherever you are — including with silence, sensation, or simply noticing what’s present in your body. The work doesn’t rely on having the “right words.”

  • No. This work is not about forcing you to revisit or re-experience anything. We move slowly and with choice, focusing on what feels safe and manageable in the present moment. You are always in control of what we explore.

  • That’s completely normal. We go gently and at your own pace. You’ll always be in control of how deep we go, and we focus on creating safety before exploring anything uncomfortable. This work isn’t about pushing or rapid transformation it’s about building capacity and trust.

  • Not at all. You don’t need any experience with therapy or mindfulness. I’ll guide you through simple practices to help you connect with your body in a safe, manageable way, no special skills required.

  • This is something we actively work with, not around. Gently moving in and out of feeling. Resourcing and regulation are central to somatic therapy. If things feel like too much, we slow down, ground, and support your nervous system back into safety. Nothing needs to be pushed through.

  • If you’ve done mindset or self-development work but still feel stuck in the same patterns, hiding or afraid to “put yourself out there” — this is the missing piece. It’s especially for you if you’re ready to stop over-analysing and start taking action.

  • Sessions are currently offered online, to increase flexibility and accessibility for this work. You’ll be guided to set yourself up in a way that feels supportive, comfortable and private.

  • You can apply for a short connection call before committing, to see if it feels like the right fit for where you are right now.

  • Sessions may include gentle conversation, noticing sensations in the body, pauses for breath or grounding, or tracking emotional responses as they arise. Some sessions are quiet and settling; others may bring insight or emotion. There’s no “right” way for a session to unfold. We always begin with a brief check in, grounding meditation and end with a moment of pause to transition out of the session and back into the day.

  • Yes. While conversation is part of the work, somatic therapy also includes the body — paying attention to sensations, impulses, and nervous system responses. This can support change at a deeper level than insight alone, especially when patterns feel hard to shift despite understanding them.

  • There’s no fixed timeline. Most people start to feel things shift within the first few sessions, while deeper change takes root in 6-12 sessions. We can check in together and adjust as we go, based on whatever feels most supportive for you.

  • Somatic work is often quieter and slower than approaches focused on insight or problem-solving — and that’s intentional. Slowing down allows your nervous system to feel safe enough for real change to occur. While shifts may be subtle at first, many people notice changes in how they respond, relate to themselves, or feel in their body over time. We’ll regularly check in together to make sure the work feels supportive and meaningful for you.

  • Accessibility to mental and emotional support really matters to me. So individual one-off sessions start at $170 AUD, with prices per session dropping as low as $150 AUD when purchased in larger packages.
