MY JOURNEY

Inspiration, creativity & growth.

I’ve had some pretty great experiences on my journey so far and love that there is still so much more to learn. I’ve always been creative in one way or another but in 2021 I decided to take a leap of faith to explore a new terrain and respond to a calling I’d been hearing since I was 17.

I grew up painting from the age of 2. My first canvas was our living room wall and the medium I used was poo. A bit yuck I know, but it’s true. After that my medium quickly changed when Mum started buying me Crayola art packs filled with pencils and paint. Remember them? I loved them and my heart still swells when I see them in a shop today.

So drawing, painting and playing in nature have always been a part of my life. It’s how my family and friends know me. It’s how I know myself. In hindsight it seems natural that I would later find myself with a career in graphic design and art.

What many don’t know though is that at aged 17 I was accepted to study psychology at uni. I decided instead to go traveling for a year and when I returned, I switched to pursue a degree in 2D and 3D design.

It’s no surprise to me that for the past 6+ years I’ve been specialising in helping other therapeutic professionals to share their work and that I’ve now come full circle (a couple of 7 year life cycles later) to study a Masters in Counselling myself.

Since 2014 I’ve immersed myself in a deeply rewarding journey of clearing limiting beliefs, changing destructive patterns, overcoming addictive behaviours and learning how to have more compassion for myself and others. When I began this journey I decided to devote my design career to working with clients who are helping others to heal, connect and grow.

Since embarking on my own self development journey,  I have designed brands for life coaches, bodyworkers, massage therapists, breath-workers, transformational voice coaches, women’s empowerment leaders, book writing mentors, feminine embodiment teachers, transformational facilitators, relationship counsellors, and health coaches all over the world.

Each time I design one of these brands I’m reminded of my love for hearing peoples stories and helping them to express themselves and connect. I’ve always loved learning about human behaviour and it seems the more I design for these clients, the more I’m reminded to pursue my interest in helping others to discover and share their gifts with the world through creativity and therapy.

I’m curious to now be exploring the overlap between my passions for people and creativity and to see how things unfold along the way. I feel so grateful for all I have learned and hope to use it in assisting others to experience their own clarity and self expression. Wherever I end up, I intend to paint and create beauty along the way.
